Mostly from central Africa, most used instrument. Wood doesn't move with humidity, and is largely available.
Density: 1300 kg/m³
european boxwood
This hard wood grows slowly and must be aged between 50 and 100 years of age. Best boxwood is found in moutains. Density : 930 kg/m³
LE PADOUK
Comes from West Africa. Red Wood I use for its aesthetics.. Useless in terms of sound. Density :710 kg/m³
Polyester Carbon
High thermic stability, non sensible to humidity. The flute can be played under all conditions and fits musicians worried of the stability of the flute head. The Resin looks like dark wood ebony but bcan be colored at will : let your imagination speak !!
